Glass has the highest clarity and greatest optical quality due to it’s high ABBE value. With no coatings Glass eyeglasses are very scratch resistant. Glass is heavier than it's plastic or polycarbonate counterparts, however many believe it is worth it for the crystal clear vision you can receive with a glass lens. While glass is not impact resistant, if you're looking to use these or light activity such as reading a book or watching TV, Glass may be for you.
